The Guidance and Training Center (GTC) is a non-profit community mental health center, founded in 1994, based in Bethlehem. GTC’s mission is to provide preventive and therapeutic services in the area of mental health, especially for the child and family, and generally for the local community, and to pursue the development of knowledge, skills, and experiences of workers in this field and conduct research through programs that meet the needs of the target groups.

The GTC is looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist according to the following requirements:

Contract Type: Project – 3 days a week
Contract Duration: One Year- Renewable
Location: Bethlehem

Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) recognized qualification.
-Minimum one year post qualification experience (ideally in a pediatrics setting).
-Knowledge and experience in developmental and sensory integration approaches.
-Ability to conduct individual and group interventions.
-Ability to plan and implement occupation based assessments and interventions.
-Demonstrate the ability to evaluate information and make effective decisions in relation to client care.
-Display effective communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work within a team and independently.
-Proactive problem-solving skills and time management skills.
-Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.
-Good command of the English language.
