As part of a capacity building program and the enhancement of professional and social relationships, The Guidance and Training Center Society for the Child and Family – Bethlehem organized a distinctive three-day workshop in the city of Jericho, starting from Wednesday, September 3, 2025, until Friday, September 5, 2025, with the participation of the Board Chairperson, Mrs. Mariam Samara Awad; the Vice President, Dr. Osama Mansara; the Treasurer, Mr. Vladimir Khroufeh; the Secretary, Mr. Sameh Salam; and the members Dr. Fouad Bennoura, Dr. Ghada Kawaa, and Dr. Nader Jibril; the representatives of deep insight company, Ms. Amal Al-Tarzi, Mr. Ghazi Kamil, and Ms. Loor Al-Masri; along with the Administrative and Financial Manager, Mr. Ghalib Ghattas; the clinical director, Ms. Merna Jarayseh; and the professional and administrative staff. The workshop included diverse sessions comprising an interactive opening, a presentation of the administrative and financial situation, a discussion of existing projects, the presentation of a research study on the reasons for withdrawal from psychological therapy, a review of individual and group interventions in the clinics, a strategic plan review, a distinctive art therapy session, in addition to a discussion of the emergency plan.
This workshop represented an important and inspiring milestone, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and commitment, and contributed to strengthening the bonds between the board members and the staff. All thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this fruitful meeting with a sense of responsibility, and all admiration and pride for this blessed effort, which is an important step towards a brighter future for children, families, and society.
