On Thursday, July 10, 2025, hearts swelled with pride and joy at the Guidance and Training Center For The Child and Family – Bethlehem as we celebrated the graduation of the fifth cohort of trainees from the Applied Psychology Program. Eleven ambitious young women completed a nine-month training journey, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application and acquiring skills that strengthened their professional identities as psychologists ready to serve their community. During the ceremony, the trainees presented several case studies they had worked on throughout their training. Their outstanding presentations reflected a high level of professional maturity and precise psychological analysis, achieved under the guidance and support of the center’s supervisors, who played a key role in their excellence. Additionally, the trainees shared a moving video highlighting the program’s impact on them—from theoretical lectures and practical training to the importance of individual and group supervision in developing their professional and interpersonal skills—while expressing deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to this enriching experience. The event was attended by Ms. Mariam Samara Awad, Chair of the Board; Mr. Sameh Salam, Secretary; Dr. Fuad Banoura, Board Member; Mr. Ghaleb Ghattas, Administrative Director; Ms. Mirna Graiseh, Professional Director; and the center’s staff, who joined the graduates in celebrating this remarkable achievement.
In her speech, Ms. Awad expressed immense pride in the graduates and thanked the training and supervision team for their unwavering commitment and support. She also extended appreciation to the program’s supporters for their role in sustaining this distinguished initiative. Ms. Mirna Jarayseh, the Professional Director, addressed the graduates with words of admiration, praising their dedication, seriousness, and the professional and personal growth they demonstrated.
