The Research Unit in the Guidance and Training Center Society for the Child and Family focuses on research and studies development supporting in knowledge contribution about mental health in Palestine and the Arab World; in addition to the contribution for a better therapeutic and diagnostic approaches. The GTC maintains a public and private database about the mental health of patients which is utilized in research development. Psychologists working at the GTC regularly cooperate with academics in Palestine, Europe and the United States in order to design research projects, psychological tools raising the awareness of the Palestinian community.
