The Guidance & Training Center for the child and family Hosts Mayor Maher Canawati

The Guidance and Training Center for the child and family in Bethlehem welcomed the Mayor of Bethlehem, Mr. Maher Canawati, and his accompanying delegation, represented by Ms. Miral Gaicaman- Public Relations Officer, and Ms. Jocelyn Qassis – Media Officer. Welcoming them were the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Ms. Mariam Smara Awad, along with board members Dr. Fuad Bannoura, Dr. Osama Al-Manasra, Dr. Deghoul Al-Hodali, Dr. Nader Jabril, Dr. Ghada Kuwa, Mr. Vladimir Kharoufeh, the Administrative and Financial Manager Mr. Ghaleb Ghattas, the clinical director Ms. Mirna Jarayseh, and the center’s staff of specialists and employees who diligently contribute to fulfilling the center’s mission and noble objectives. During this distinguished meeting, Ms. Mariam Smara Awad emphasized the vital role played by the Board of Directors in cementing the center’s vision and leading it toward building a vibrant society and sustainable development. She proudly highlighted the association’s steadfast commitment to providing specialized preventive and therapeutic mental health services that reflect the needs of children and families across the nation’s provinces, effectively contributing to the creation of a healthy and balanced society. For his part, Mr. Maher Canawati affirmed the vital role and profound societal responsibility undertaken by the Bethlehem Municipality in supporting The Guidance and Training Center for the child and family.
