The General Assembly meeting was held on July 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM by The Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family at Bethlehem Hotel discussing the administrative and financial report, as well as hearing the auditor’s report concerning the Budget and Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2023.
The Chairwoman Mrs Mariam Samara Awad, welcomed the attendees, members of the General Assembly, and the Board of Directors. Mrs. Mariam Samara Awad summarized the Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family’s key achievements and provided an overview of the future projects aimed at developing the work and projects at the Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family serving the local Palestinian community. The main topics were discussed at the meeting which included appointment of New Technical Manager, and other staff in alliance with the needs of the Center moving forward with the services provided in mental health. In addition, Mrs.Mariam Awad emphasized the importance of networking with local community CBOs aiming at expansion of work in Bethlehem Governorate and outside.
The General Assembly discussed the results of the auditor’s report, as well as the administrative and financial report, which included the work progress of the Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family, its achievements, potential challenges, current difficulties, and future objectives. All of the questions were answered by the Board of Directors and Administrative and Financial Director, Mr. Ghaleb Ghattas.
Finally, Mrs. Mariam Awad concluded the meeting by thanking the Board of Directors and General Assembly in general for their confidence in the future of The Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family and their keenness for the Center to continue providing the best therapeutic services and also thanked the employees working at the Center for their hard work.
