The Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family is pleased to announce the successful completion of its professional development program, “Applied Psychology Villages: Pathways of Development and Change,” held in Ramallah from February 13 to 27, 2025. This intensive training series brought together practitioners for a transformative learning experience that seamlessly integrated theoretical foundations with practical applications in psychology. Over the course of two weeks, participants engaged in an innovative curriculum designed to enhance professional competencies in applied psychology. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and collaborative exercises, attendees developed advanced skills in psychological assessment, intervention strategies, and evidence-based practice. The program’s unique methodology emphasized hands-on learning, enabling participants to immediately implement new approaches in their professional work with children and families. The Center extends its sincere gratitude to the Ramallah Psychologists Syndicate and its President, Mr. Iyad Ladawda, for their valuable partnership and expert contributions throughout the program. We are equally grateful to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) for their generous support, which was instrumental in making this initiative possible. Special recognition is due to our dedicated team of trainers and staff whose commitment ensured the program’s success. This training series represents our ongoing commitment to advancing professional excellence in psychological services throughout Palestine. By equipping practitioners with cutting-edge knowledge and practical tools, we continue to strengthen the quality of mental health support available to children and families in our communities. The positive feedback from participants underscores the program’s effectiveness in bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world practice.
Looking ahead, the Guidance and Training Center remains dedicated to developing innovative professional development opportunities that address the evolving needs of psychological practitioners. We are currently planning future programs to build on this initiative’s success and expand its impact across additional regions.
