On November 5, 2024, the Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family launched the Applied Psychology Internship Program. The program aims to enhance the professional identity of psychologists. It was developed based on research within the Palestinian context, with contributions from local specialists and Western partners, and is regularly evaluated to ensure its relevance to graduates working in the field of mental health within Palestinian society. Over nine months, the program will provide theoretical content in the field of mental health, along with practical components designed to enhance the skills required for psychologists to effectively integrate into the mental health workforce in Palestine.
